| Sugar vs. Wax
Sugar does not contain petrochemicals, resins,
or preservatives. It is made of sugar, lemon, and water.
Sugar is warm, not hot
Hot wax can burn the skin and cause tissue to swell,
making hair removal difficult. Sugar is only warm; you'll
never burn your skin.
Sugar won't stick to the skin
Wax adheres directly to the skin cells, which makes
waxing painful and irritating. Wax cannot be applied
to an area more than once.
Sugar is cost-effective
Most waxes are applied thick, this can waste product.
SUGAR is applied 5 times thinner than most waxes. It
is simple to remove, with less discomfort to you.
Sugar never dries
Most waxes must be removed immediately before drying;
therefore, repetitious dipping and stripping makes the
process longer than necessary. SUGAR does not dry. We
can apply it to an entire area at first and then remove
it with strips; this will speed up the full-leg and
full-body services.

What to do...BEFORE YOUR SUGAR APPOINTMENT
- Please shower to clean the skin of any access oils etc.
- Do not wear any lotion, deodorant, oils, or other skin
care products on the area you intend to have sugared.
- Come for your sugaring treatment with clean dry skin.
- If this is your first experience, please allow hair
to grow 5-10 days prior to your appointment. Hair must
be ¼ inch long.
- Do not shave or trim area to be sugared.
- If you are pain-sensitive, please take your preference
of painkiller 30 minutes prior to your appointment. This
will make you relaxed.
- Do not drink alcohol prior to your sugaring appointment.
- You will be asked to fill out a client information record
prior to service. |

After Care Information
Exfoliate: 2 days before and 2 days after treatment and between treatments for optimal health of your skin. Our in house product recommendation is PFB Vanish and Tend Skin. Your service provider will recommend one of the products for you to use after treatment.
Exercise and Tight fitting Clothing: Avoid immediately following hair removal treatment. Tight clothing may cause ingrown hairs.
Back or Chest: Bring a clean white cotton “T” shirt to your hair removal appointment.
Dead Sea Salts: Dissolve 1 part salts with water and apply mixture with cotton ball to ingrown area and let dry.
Spotting: When tiny red spots appear on the skin do not be alarmed as it will disappear quickly. This is a natural occurrence when hair is removed by the root. The bigger the root the bigger the spot. This should last about an hour or so.
